Why did you decide to join the Grand Challenge Scholars Program?
I love a challenge and want to make a positive impact in the world. I want to improve on my public speaking and leadership skills.
Which of the Grand Challenges you interest you most, and why?
Engineering tools for scientific discovery. I have a passion for astronomy and my goal is to help make new discoveries to enhance our understanding of the universe.
What are your plans after graduation?
I plan to go into the industry as an aerospace engineer and apply my skills directly in the field. I hope to move up in the company and make advances in the study of aerospace engineering.

Why did you decide to join the Grand Challenge Scholars Program?
I joined the GCSP to better understand the overarching problems faced by the world as a whole, and to contribute to that community globally. I also aim to explore my combined interests in Biology and Computer Science through this program.
Which of the Grand Challenges you interest you most, and why?
Advancing Health Informatics, because healthcare is moving towards personalization and precision, and this can be advanced through existing data from health records and databases.
What are your plans after graduation?
I hope to attend an MD/PhD program!
